| A couple of years ago I read an historical article about the last year of Pushkin's life.Of course I can't judge on the matter but its arguments sounded very very plausible.It said that Pushkin's duel with Edmond Dantes was a put-up job of his (Pushkin's)...beauty-wife (she was 11-12 y. yuonger than him). All the jealousy etc, sure you understand.The reasons for it were (apart from some real details and facts which I omit here):she gets rid of her absolutely poor and unbeloved husband;she, as a noble widow, gets a pretty pension from Tzar and acquittances of all debts of her husband;For E. Dantes this duel was a completely needless and foolish nonsense; he was simply forced to it. |

| Dunno about poet, but he is a very good lyricist. I absolutely detest (C)rap and can still admire him.Still, wouldn't go as far as poet, mind you, looking at some of the god-awful poets we have these days, maybe you really do have a point for once Stoad. |

| I don't mind his texts (let them be abusive or foolish, I don't mind it)But never in the history no one man was able to spit words out so quickly.It's really charming.Last but not least: he did/does very much much for uniting white and black cultures.All his black brothers. It's touching and very import thing. |

No, he's an absolute POET.You have no my background , in Poetry, to judge on him.Eminem is a brilliant poet. |
