I just got back from scuba diving in Key Largo and finally saw some some sharks. About 7 or 8, but not all at the same place and time. But still, it was really cool. And I also did my first night dive, which was also really cool until I misnavigated the way back to the boat and was about dead by the time I finally got back to it.Jim |

Mexico is high on my list to dive, I hear Roatan is excellent. I saw mostly nurse sharks, one reef shark, the sea floor was littered with card sharks Jim |

Isla Holbox is the place to see Whale Sharks. They held an international Whale Shark conference there the week after we left. For snorkeling, we went to Akumal, which is about an hour south of Cancun. I've never been scuba diving, but my parents have, and they enjoyed the sea life in that area. Turtles, sharks, rays, barracuda, squid, octopusussesses (sp?), eels, ....cool stuff.e4 d5 xd5 Nf6 |

Don't worry, LTack. The water is just as afraid of you as you are of it. ;-) |

How about seeing sea life on DVD?The movie "Into the blue" is filmed under the sea, and also has sharks! E 12°55'05.25"N 56°04'39.16" |

I DEVOUR DRINKING WATER. I've gotta get back at the stuff somehow!Honestly...I have a hard time watching movies that portray someone stuck in an ocean, lake, etc. Sometimes I can handle nature shows involving the ocean.I'd like to have a pet shark, though. That'd be cool. They don't need water to survive, right?__________SQL Newbie |
