Hello,
I am having a problem with a client's computer. They use CSI for billing, invoicing etc... and use SQL server on a lan. Whenever I boot their computer, I get a message that says "SQLdumper library failed initialization. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall and rerun the setup to correct this problem." The event viewer said "The SQL server VSS service has terminated unexpectedly."
I am new to SQL server and am not sure what to do. I know there has been a problem with XP updates conflicting with the operation of CSI but that has been resolved.

Got you.. Maybe SQL Server is not installed. Only the client Tools are installed.. To disable this error... Disable thr SQL VSS service.(Change startup type to DISABLE)

Maninder: Are you sure this is the fix? If so, what are the exact steps to carry this out please? Thank you very much for your help!

gracielu, are you having issues? If so, what are they? I have this service started on my desktop and have no issues. Let us know what you're facing.
