Chris writes "I am passing a script into isql from the unix command line. This script calls a procedure that resturns a result set from the database. I have specified an output file on the command line to capture these results. The problem is that the following text is written tothe end of the file:
(return status = 0)
Can this text be suppresed?
-----------------------------------------------------
Also, can the blank lines between each record in the result set be suppressed?
I've had a look in a number of reference books, but there is nothing about any flags to do this. I have turned off the column headings using an isql flag, but there isn't one to do the above." |
