I lead a double life ...mild mannered geek by day; tattoo'd, biker-chick, rockstar by night (well close ). but it seems never the twain shall meet?!

no-one in the office is the least bit muso, and my band think myspace is black magic. wooo...

surely, I can't be the only here trying to balance the two? SO... what do you play? ...anyone?

I used to play Tabla a while ago, thought of doing career in that, but life brought me into programming!

No, not for long time, and if I want to do it now, I will have to buy a new set of Tabla, since my old one worn out long ago.

I guess I will have to think about it now.

Classical piano.
Irish Celtic Recorder.

Pretty rusty at both right now, but I did break out the recorder last week and run through some chromatic scales.

>>sweet! nice dojo!
Yeah - beautiful

I have a feeling that there are a lot of musical folks here. I've always done musical stuff - I think my first instrument (as a young kid) was the vacuum cleaner hose - sousaphone style :)

played piano all though jr high years then picked up guitar. Never went "pro" but was asked to play at about half a dozen weddings. I'm sure I've been asked NOT to play more often then I've been asked to play though. Right now I've got a strat plugged into a little "bullet" amp in my living room (with head-phones so my wife let's me stay)

Tatoo'd biker-chick rockstar - who'd a guessed :)

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

he's there tonight actually. Says there's only 2 or 3 people there regularly on a tuesday so they get all that space to themselves too.
