Is it just me or is khtan pulling some serious magic in his signature?? There is some "transparent" text there that actually changes colors depending on the background color of his posts!!

A [ hidden ] tag is supported on this forum. Don't know why though ...

I did some consultancy work for a company and advised the boss that displaying the whole credit card number to back office staff on non-SSL pages was probably a bit norty.

Next time I looked there was no credit card number on the page, so boss had obvious asked his programmers to remove it. I highlighted the page where the card number used to be and Guess What? There it was ...

The programmers had "fixed" the problem by just setting it to white-on-white ... obvious to the fact that it might be intercepted en route. Ho! Hum!

A hidden-tag...hm...and I who was hoping for some seriously cool hacks here

But you just gotta love programmers like that...as long as the boss thinks it's working it's all good. After all, who really cares about security??

I actually noticed the hidden text a while ago but didn't really think too much about it until I for some reason noticed that it didn't matter what the background color of the post was. That really freaked me out so I had to ask

I've used this "trick" to create easter eggs and such on websites but I can't really see what it has to do in a forum like this...could be fun utilizing it though. I'll have to think of something
