The site was down for a little while this evening. It looks like there was a problem upstream from the hosting provider. On a better note I rolled out an update that allows articles to be dugg, kicked, delicioused and technoratied. Did I miss anything?===============================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. One crisis at a time. |

ahh..ASp.NET site was down too.. I downloaded a new version of browser and was not able to access any of these 2 forums that I usually visit. and I was pretty sure I had internet connection. I was chatting with a moderator from the .NET forums and came to know there was some power failure in Charlotte (where OrcsWeb has their data center) and ran on generator for a few hrs before they had to pull down that too. apparently they dont have a DR site!!Dinakar Nethi************************Life is short. Orcsweb hosts many of the non-Microsoft Microsoft sites -- asp.net, blogs.msdn.com, etc. And SQLTeam.com! As for the DR site I'm not sure I could justify the cost whether Orcsweb provided it or not. Moving the sites is pretty straightforward but keeping the databases in sync is the real challenge.===============================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. One crisis at a time. |

that is a funny comment. Graz, why don't you throw some of the millions you are making off this site towards a DR implementation? :)-ec |
