sorry, this question may be basic but I wasn't clear.

In Cluster group resource, why do you create MSDTC and Temp Vitual? I know MSDTC stand for Microsoft Distributed transction Coordinator but what is it functionalilty?

It's for distributed transactions, such as when you are making updates to data across databases or servers. It is a requirement for the cluster regardless if you don't ever make distributed transactions.

I don't know what is meant by "Temp Vitual".
