sorry, this question may be basic but I wasn't clear.In Cluster group resource, why do you create MSDTC and Temp Vitual? I know MSDTC stand for Microsoft Distributed transction Coordinator but what is it functionalilty? |

It's for distributed transactions, such as when you are making updates to data across databases or servers. It is a requirement for the cluster regardless if you don't ever make distributed transactions.I don't know what is meant by "Temp Vitual".Tara Kizer |
