No, it's just stupid. Now if you wanna see some REALLY insane inflation, go research postwar Europe. Can't remember the details but one of my college economics professors was throwing out numbers that you simply cannot fathom. |

Insane and stupid IMHO. Why can't these people wait and purchase the same item for half the price?!Desperate gamers...._________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Inability is a disaster; patience is bravery; abstinence is a treasure, self-restraint is a shield; and the best companion is submission to Divine Will. |

I've placed an order for one already. £195 but no idea how many games or what type I will get.Looking forward to some gruelling tennis matches with the wife. Spirit, I use to worship counter strike but haven't played it since the Condition Zero came out. My gfx card won't handle it. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Inability is a disaster; patience is bravery; abstinence is a treasure, self-restraint is a shield; and the best companion is submission to Divine Will. |

Postwar Europe, try Zimbabwe today, this site quotes the current inflation rate at 465%!!! (yes four hundred and sixty five)http://www.intersites.co.uk/221/In fact the NY Times reports a single sheet (not a roll) of toilet paper costing $417, and inflation at 916%http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/02/world/africa/02zimbabwe.htmlNice that other people in the world can spend $2000 on a game console huh. |

you know you are in trouble when a graph of your inflation rate needs a log y-axis. elsasoft.org |

I read an article about a month ago about what was going on in Zimbabwe. It followed the lives of some people there who have to get up at 2am to wait in front of their bank to get the maximum amount of their money they are allowed to withdraw. It amounted to the value of some small dinner roll. It was a heartbreaking read. |
