SSMS. You can still use QA for SQL 2005 servers, but EM won't connect to them. |

The Object Explorer feature of Query Analyzer will not work well with SQL 2005, but regular queries are just fine. |

And scripting is broke to my experience.But for just firing up something quickly to write queries QA gets the job done. |

i stopped using QA alltogether.i just have SMSS open at all times.once you get used to it it's preety cool.and i just love client statistics thingie.Go with the flow & have fun! Else fight the flow blog thingie: http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/mladenp |

bail QA. Get used to SSMS for writing your code. I actually prefer it now - especially since I got a new laptop that is about 5x faster than my last. If you don't have a decently fast system, you will hate SSMS because it is basically a pig.-ec |
