Remember email is passed around the world on PC->PC->PC->PC basis. Somewhere along the line...one of the receivers didn't pass on mail promptly. But it woke up (or got woken up/pushed by it's admin) and eventually the mail moved into your inbox.There is "no guaranted delivery time" with internet mail. Delivery is only as good as the weakest/slowest link in the chain. |
