I've got two laptops which belong to an acquaintence. Both had some kind of "local server" installed to enable a web demo while the laptop was offline. I have no idea what or where this software is on the laptop.I'm trying to assist in getting these laptops connected to the Internet. The 100baseT link comes up, gets the DNS OK. Ipconfig /all indicates the gateway and dns are in good shape. Can't ping anything on the internet at all. Something must be diverting traffic away from the ethernet link, but what? What? Sam |

OK. I've checked. Right-click the LAN icon, I see no network briding selection. |
