When I first came here from the UK I got 17 days/year plus another few paid holidays - that was a big drop from the 23-odd days plus holidays I get when I worked for DEC in the 90s. Now I've been here 7 years so get another week - almost back to the same amount of vacation I had in '98.

Actually going back to the UK for the first time in 7 years...

Standard in Ireland is 21/22....(too) long service gets me 25....plus 9/10 public holidays...(plus bank holidays which thankfully apply for me since I work in one)
