sql 7.0

unable to start the enterprise manager.
getting "sqlctr70.dll errors"

cannot restore databases until enterprise comes back up.... any ideas????

I'd post this in the admin forum and also give the errors you're receiving. This isn't a data corruption problem.

first thing to try is re-installing the last SQL 7 service pack on the workstation you are running EM from in the hopes that it fixes the DLLs that are jacked up.

if that fails, I would then google this error. Chances are you aren't going to get very good support for SQL 7 since it is about 9 years old.
