Help me settle an argument we are having today. I've always been told that for a Windows 2000 box without using any special switches in the Boot.ini, you can not have more than 4GB's of memory.If you've got 2GB's of phyiscal RAM, your page file should not exceed 2GB's giving you a total of 4GB.I just had a discussion with a co-worker and he said I've mis-interpreted that rule. He says's the rule is that you can have up to 4GB's of physical RAM AND up to 4GB's of page file.I found a doc from MS on the subject. The key sentance is this:quote:
