| I'm looking for an aptitude test to set for new employees. MIS department, querying with Transact SQL. Really just testing logic, problem solving etc. Can anyone recommend anything? |

| so you are looking for interview questions?I have always liked this question: "How would you go about the task of counting all the chimneys in the United States?" Make sure you put that question in the middle of a bunch of technical questions though. Another fun one to ask is "if you could be any animal, which animal would you be and why?" I like to end the interview with that one. As for technical questions, they are just a quick google search away.EDIT:I remembered that Vyas had some questions on his site. I like the chimneys question  I was actually after a written test though rather than discussion points for interview. I found some examples online that test logic / problem solving, and one that tests Transact SQL knowledge but I just wondered if anyone had used one before / could recommend one.Thanks for the link to the interview questions though. They all look strangely familiar from my last interview actually.Em |

i read in someone's blog that he asked the interviewee how would he desigh a spice shelf for the blind.that's preety briliant if you ask me.the point was that Braile is easier read if it is in a horizontal position than in a vertical position, soa drawer would be better than a shelf.Go with the flow & have fun! Else fight the flow  |
