Gido writes "Hi SQL Guru,

I made a rather large Webprojekt with ASP and a SQL7 Database. The Projekt ist on a windows 2000 Server which I never done before (I always user NT4.0). Now I am not sure but have you heard of Buggy stuff when using the SQL7 on a W2K server? Sinds 2 Days I get following message when opening a table in the SQL database (open table, view all rows):
"unexpected Error accured" in the "Abfragedesigner" (must be translated something like Querydesigner) accured an error: unknown error
Well I didn't chance a bit on the server and can't explain what that might be. By the way another strange thing was that after installing SQL7 on our test server (which only had NT W2K on, the IIS installed, the service pack1, and nothing more) the SQL server also didn't work properly (didn't let be make tables and tolld me DLL's where missing) really weird for we installed only Registered Software. We are using the Compaq Prolion server.

Perhaps this all says nothing to you....but I hope to hear from you. Perhaps other people with this software sonstruction had simular problems.

Greetings
Gido"
