Well it's still in beta at the moment so you probably should be careful about what you rely on.Problems in programming will depend on your ability.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

SQL Server 2005 has not been released yet. It is in beta only right now. Whether or not you'll run into any problems...well that depends on what kind of experience that you have.Tara |

Just an FYI, Barnes & Noble, Microsoft, and some European government agencies ARE currently running SQL 2005 Beta 2 in production. They were mentioned at this year's PASS Summit in Orlando. There may be a few other companies running it as well. However, even though they're doing it, it's not officially supported by Microsoft as production software. If you run into problems you'll have to figure them out on your own. |

You can use the beta version but at your own risk. There will be bugs and also functionality may be changed for the release version. It's likely to be fairly close but you never know.See my first post.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
