Hello, I have a SQL Server database running. In our company we use Nagios for monitoring. We have installed a plugin for monitoring SQL Server. With this plugin a lot of things can be monitored such as:average wait timedatabase pages per seconddeadlocks per second etc etcthe problem is that Nagios has predefined values for warnings or critical warnings. I cannot interpret al of this values.for example the lock timeouts per second. How high may this value be before you have to worry. Nagios has a value of 500. Our server gives values of 800 and more.Does anybody know what a good value is?greet Lambik |
