| Hello , We had some issues on one of servers which has windows 2003 with SQL server 2008 Enterprise X64. Its a standalone VM machine and it had some data drive issues which the windows team fixed and now when we(DBA) team try to start the SQL services from sql configuration manager on the server..we get an error 'The request failed or service did not respond in a timely fashion ...Checked eventlog and found The SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion with Error: 1053..Tried running sqlservr.exe through command line but no luck..PLEASE Help !!!! |
