I must be missing something extremely simple. I've got a maintenance plan running perfectly, and Database Mail is up and working, sending notifications of Success/Failure. What I'm wanting to do, is in either Success/Failure, I want the plan to email-attach the maintenance log report that gets generated with the job. This would keep me from having to log into the server to fetch the report, or map a drive to fetch the report, when something goes wrong. Or use the reports to get stats on my backup times. I've looked thru the online books, and searched this forum, and I cannot believe I'm missing it ( or searching on the wrong terminology ). Surely, someone has already solved this simple, but needed, situation. All help is appreciated! Thanks! Mike I. |
