Hi

If i shutdown the SQL Mirror server for 12 hours and leave the Principal SQL server running, assuming there is no outage on the Principal SQL server and there is enough disk space for the log to grow, will the Principal re-sych without data loss back to the SQL Mirror server OK? We are running full safety synchonous with witness server.

Were doing testing for DR scenarios, and I wanted to know if I left the mirror server physically turned off for a long time, whether I would have to delete and rebuild the mirror set from scratch again as I am not sure if there is a "use-by" time for mirrored data?

Thanks in advance,

SG
