I am trying to install reporting services with sql 2005 express on a computer running the following.Windows 7 Home premium 64 bitSQL Server Express 2005IIS 7 (Downloaded through web platform installer)When I run the SQL Express Toolkit that contains Reporting Services it runs through the System Configuration Check but always displays a warning "IIS Feature Requirement" "Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is either not installed or is disabled" as a result of this I can not install Reporting Services.I understand that I need to set IIS to allow Windows Authentication, but do not have the option as I am using windows 7 home and Windows Authentication is only available in IIS on higher versions of windows. Can anyone suggest anything that would allow me to install Reporting Services, and would SQL Express 2008 work? Its 64 bit as opossed to 32 bit reporting services in 2005, but I think I would still have the IIS problem. |
