Hi, I installed Sql Server 2008 Express Edition Advanced Services. Everything is working fine, except the Installation Center Wizard. I attempted to add services. When I click the "New Sql Server stand-alone..." link, it opens up a browser window on my computer, and each time I navigate to the root directory in which I "think" the executable resides that will allow me to continue, I get the following message: "it is not a valid installation folder." I have tried all the folders that I think I should be starting with the folder where the setup executable resides, but I'm not having any luck. Help! I'm using Vista home edition as my operating system, and I have added all the updates--I think? My goal is to use Sql 2008 Analysis Services, but I can't get the wizard to work. Thanks,Ed |
