hi all,
I've been doing some investigation on reporting of Login attempts and the Audit Level setting.

I get that if Audit Level is set to "all" then both successful and failed login attempts appear in the SQL Error Log.

what I'm not too clear about is what events occur. eg - if Audit Level is set to "none", will a successful Login still trigger an alert? (assuming one is set on that event)

this is for SQL2000 + 2005.

any thoughts?

cheers!
