We are (probably) going to be moving from a 2000 log shipped system to a 2008 mirror settup (currently in testing)Using SQL Std 2008 is there a relatively easy way to "check" the mirror is up to date, looking at the acutal data in the db?With log shipping we break it every now and then and log into the seconday db to see it has the latest data, is there an "easy" way to do this with a mirror (pause, inspect, reconnect)If we had Enterprise I could snapshot the mirror and inspect that, but we dont!Advice/pointers appreciated. |
