I know I have seen the number 2 as the total number of nodes per SQL cluster, supported over an ISCSI connection. I can't remember for the life of me where, and after talking to a systems admin who doesn't believe me, I am looking for proof. The best part is that I don't know if that limit applies to Windows 2k3 or 2k8. I know that a lot of work went into Win2k8 for clustering, and the first article below says that Windows supports 8 nodes. I am looking for the SQL limit, if it's different.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/288778http://home.fuse.net/Reynolds/att/SB_CONS_SQL.pdfThoughts? |
