Our database is in SQL Server 2000. I don't do any heavy DBA duties but work with the enterprise manager every now and then to write SQL queries of medium level of complexity and simple stored procedures. I also create reports in Crystal Reports. I am planning to get an MS certification and have a few questions, so here they are: 1. Should I go on the Developer or the Admin track? 2. 2005 or 2008 (I'm not familiar with either) 3. any good books you could recommend on learning both the technical "inside-out" of sql server and to help to pass the exam?
