Bit strong but I don't like it either. They don't charge "experts" who earn enough points. I kept answering questions on there to keep my freebies going but stopped in the end. The main problem is that "experts" compete for points. As such, questions are answered straight irrespective of how poor a practice they are. If somone wants to create a dynamic SQL trigger using a cursor to email users they get the answer. Best practice is not something that gets bandied around much. I much prefer here and dbforums where, even if things sometimes get heated (yay!), issues do get debated and their is genuine knowledge sharing. |
