| Can't do anything about cross-posting to forums on different sites (except you can pick one site to focus on). | Ditto on dbforums. I will typically put a link to the cross post in each thread. That at least saves people spending time going down blind alleys that have already been resolved on the other forum. I think most of the uber-posters lose interest once they know this is someone posting threads like they have been shot out of a blunderbus. Cross posters seem to be far less willing to put in effort and far more willing to drop active threads if they find that someone on another forum is prepared to do the work for them. |
