I see this is becoming a common trend to cross post the same question over several forums.
Check this: http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=81455
and this: http://www.sql-server-performance.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=20462

Infact, everytime I go to SSP there is atleast 4-5 posts that I can quickly identified having read somewhere

And I do have to agree, I get annoyed sometimes..
If I look at it from the 'asker''s' point of view it makes sense..

I was wondering how do the others feel?

Can't do anything about cross-posting to forums on different sites (except you can pick one site to focus on). But cross-posting to multiple forums on SQLTeam is a no-no and typically the first person to notice will post a dupe link in one of the posts, eg.

I think they should spend more time focusing on solving/pinpointing the problem, than posting same question over and over again on different forums.

Ditto on dbforums. I will typically put a link to the cross post in each thread. That at least saves people spending time going down blind alleys that have already been resolved on the other forum. I think most of the uber-posters lose interest once they know this is someone posting threads like they have been shot out of a blunderbus. Cross posters seem to be far less willing to put in effort and far more willing to drop active threads if they find that someone on another forum is prepared to do the work for them.
