well it seems i'll have to reach this little certification

now there are a bunch of Microsoft Press Books for each of these exams that you "should" read.

I'm of the opininon that all those books are an overkill
and i think that these 3 books pretty much cover this exam in full:

can anyone comment on my thinking?
has anyone taken that exam?

I am about to, but I have plunged into all the nine books.
Later I want the other two exams too, so I thought it is worth the time.

Especially BI experts are very sought for in Sweden right now.

I second it, although I would like to see some Guru's guide book on SQL 2005. Personally, in my experience much of the MS training material drives you just mechanically through lots of wizards and pictures of dialog boxes. But I found Inside series a better alternative with good information.


Have you cleared MCTS exam, spirit?

no i haven't taken any exam yet.
i'll of course have to start with 70–431
i'm not really interested in BI yet.

but if you take a look at the chapters of all these 9 books they preety much have the same stuff...

i know i'll start with the inside SQL 3 for 70–431.
and then work from there.

I haven't found any examiners in Sweden yet.

they do have all of them.

so it looks like i'll be half way through to MCITP: Database Developer by may.

I'm also intersted in doing this certification. Did a bit of searching and came across this book :

BTW, I notice there is no certifictaion material for the 70-442 yet. DOes that mean there aren't that many MCITPs out there yet?!
