I always thought that I found the friends, here, on the forums

I can't even recall nick the man from UK which I "rescued" via email

He promised to send me $100 I refused to get it. It occured abt 1-2 years ago.

Hi Stoad. I hope you get better with time my friend. I wish I could help you out financially but all my savings went towards the deposit for the damn house so living on a tight budget at the moment. (Uk houses prices are terrible!!!)

Please don't let the insensitive comments get to you. Some people just don't get it when another person is feeling down. I guess you get to know who your real friends/online buddies really are.

Shame about the obnoxious posts from some people. I hope they see the light and restore some compassion in to their hearts.

Stoad claims he is sick, and maybe he is...but the complaints are why bother coming on here and asking people for 100 bucks. How much is that going to help you when it comes to going to the hospital when you have TB? Then he claims the lady who is taking his transactions is in debt 700,000 USD. So why would anyone in that much debt collect 100 bucks and pass it on to him for his recovery is beyond me.

I dont care that he is doing that, my point was it was very strange that he came on a SQL forum to ask for money like that. Damian already blocked one of his posts regarding this...something tells me they will probably block this one as it is not relevant to this site at all.

Shame on you for judging us. You don't know us personally so you can't make a judgement like that. You don't have any idea if we give money to charitable causes or volunteer or anything else for that matter.

All I'm saying is that in order for me (not you or anyone else) to help anyone out that I don't know personally would be some proof. I don't just give away money.

You don't need to explain anything, just leave this thread alone and stop questioning his credibility.

I consider stoad a true friend on this forum, and I don't question him at all.
His life is hard right now, if anything a bit of support would be nice.
