you can use xp_fixeddrives to monitor the disk space

You can monitor for two situations: 1) freespace within the database 2) freespace on the disk. For a quick review of drives , run this Powershell script across all your servers . The script returns xp_fixeddrives across your servers: http://www.sqlserver-dba.com/2010/05/free-space-on-drives-using-powershell.html
