Does anyone know of a simple very-quick-and-easy-to-use open-source/free task time allocation tool.
Don't have the time to write one myself!
I want to be able to easily say I worked on task A from 10am to 11pm, Task B from 11am to 1pm, etc..

And then I can look at the day, week, month, quarter, year and see where my time is actually going proportionately. Maybe a nice pie chart to go with it.

Does Fogbugz do that? Fogbugz fans are complementary about www.joelonsoftware.com products, I've not used it. I'm pretty sure "single user", or thereabouts, is free.

Well spotted.
But I have had many days like that.
Usually on a Saturday!

"I want to be able to easily say I worked on "

Actually Andrew, I think what he's after is something that makes suitable excuses as to why it took that long ...
