Greetings SQL friends!

I am not sure how many of you are using SQL Server 2005, specifically the new and improved ETL tools, i.e. SSIS but I am surprised that there is only a SQL Server 2005 section without a mention for SSIS here.

Is it possible to have a new section were newbies (like myself) can indulge in some juicey discussions?! Persoannly I think that such a new tool merits a seprate section, but that's just me.

I hope you agree.

I agree. Otherwise the existing forums will be a mismatch of 2000/2005 questions without it being obvious which version folk are using.

Mind you, based on past experience, a significant number will just post where-ever, regardless, and cross-post ... <sigh>

"the new and improved ETL tools"

"new & improved" eh? Well I'll be ...

Where is the sorely? missed? and overlooked? DTS forum?

Do we need a new one for every new release of SQL server?

LOL... maybe I should have added "with a pinch of salt" or maybe a shovel?
