hi everybody,
that's my first post and I have a question(of course),is there an official source where I can find the list of countries and nationalities
like those ones found in a list box on forms? maybe in a format that I can easily port into a database?
thanx in advance and ciao

skater1976,

This is a SQL server forum and ur question has no relationship to this forum

However
U visit the web sites and from a page which displays that data, copy & paste to ur file (Excel or Access or a text file or some such)

For countries, I'd probably start somewhere like this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1

Although whether you'd want to include Åland, American Samoa, Anguilla, Antarctica, Aruba, Bermuda, Bouvet Island, British Indian Ocean Territory, Cayman Islands, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Faroe Islands, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern Territories, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guam, Heard Island and McDonald Islands, Macao, Martinique, Mayotte, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, Niue, Norfolk Island, Northern Mariana Islands, Pitcairn, Puerto Rico, Réunion, Saint Helena, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Tokelau, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands (British and U.S.), Wallis and Futuna and Western Sahara depends on what your list is for.

For nationalities, I'd run away, very quickly.

I thought Hell was an Island that Richard Branson owned - and enabled him to do marketing along the lines of "If we muck up we'll send you to Hell for free!"

Perhaps there are several Hells ...
