wow congratulations...i NEVER win anything in any raffle no matter how small it is..cakes, trips, school supplies....and how many i buy... booklets, leaflets, entire series...atleast now i know raffles are not scams... ha ha ha--------------------keeping it simple... |

No. Raffles are still scams. SamC works for an international consortium of rafflers, and every once in a while they need to parade a winner in front of the masses ;-). |

I'm already bummed that it's not "Enterprise". You don't get the REINDEX without blocking users if you don't have the Enterprise version.Regarding the raffle win, it was a little tilted. There were 40 people present and most purchased 1 ticket for two dollars.I purchased twenty dollars worth, and won the draw. Funny thing is, you got to pick your "prize". Couple of vendor baseball hats, .NET Enterprise version (I'd have liked that), or SQL 2005 standard edition (couldn't pass it up).Now a ski trip to Utah would have been interesting... |
