The work they do essentially duplicates that of the central team.They've obviously been having fun recently as they have just done some 'improvements' to the network that mean around half our machines now can't see the network drives. The fact that this means that the people who use these machines are rather restricted in the work they are able to do is seen as a very low priority, less important than for example changing someone's name on the email system because they got married.They are a protected species, maybe they should be an endangered speciessteve-----------Facts are meaningless. The audit is likely to have no impact whatsoever apart from maybe getting them more staff, unless we have a really good auditor - any volunteers?steve-----------Facts are meaningless.
