 problem in connect between 2 system on network

hi
i have 2 pc named PC1 and PC2 that connect with wired network.i installed SQL Server 2008 on both PC.(Instance Name :MSSQLServer)
on PC1 i create a new SQL Server Authentication User named :User1 by a password for example "12345".
now when i try to connect to PC1's instance server from PC2 by using the User1 login this error occure :

Cannot connect to PC1\MSSQLServer
Additional information
A connection was successfully established with the server , but
then an error occured during the login process .
(Provider : Named pipes provider , error : 0 - NO process is on the other end of the pipe )
(Microsoft SQL Server , error :233)

Use linked server under security tab if they are on the same domain
