After the way Google f'd up my home page, I'd be reluctant to use their browser.

I quite like it. It's more minimal than firefox and seems stable enough so far.

I just wish it fitted in with the rest of my windows a bit better (it being blue and all the others are black framed)

I'll never use a browser other than FF unless it has ad blocker plus. :)

I checked the browser property in .net and see its just another interface for safari.

Here is what I got.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/0.2.149.27 Safari/525.13

My favourite browser....

...most stable, reliable and fastest browser still remains opera.

A very good implementation of Safari and the Apple Toolkit

Apparently it has the same bug that safari used to have i.e. exe's can be dropped onto your machine without your knowledge. I've also found that it doesn't render some pages properly for me (low spec work machine so that could be a factor). I also miss the google toolbar ironically.

Having said all that I think it has some good ideas and I like it. If they resolve the bug I will probably make it my default browser.

And, you can scroll down but not up using the scroll bar on the laptop..you have to use the scroll bar on the page..

Of course, if you believed the first end user licence agreement then google now owns all the data that has flowed through the browser!

I doubt your information officers will approve of that!

Is it just me? When I use it the page doesn't always render fully, so I have to refresh, sometimes a few times, to get the full page on screen.

Its just you. There's special exception logic in the browser code. Get the open source code and search it for "if user='elwoos'".
Somebody at Google apparently doesn't like you.
