Hi all

This is a trivial suggestion but I would find it useful.

I like to subscribe to every topic I reply to. As far as I'm aware (i.e. correct me if I'm wrong) there's no way for this to happen automatically, and I have to remember to do it manually each time.

If we could have something in edit profile like the signature default, that would work for me and would be great.

i.e.

On the reply form there are these options:
* Check here to include your profile signature. (check/don't check)
* Check here to subscribe to this topic. (check/don't check)

In edit profile there is this option:
* Signature checkbox checked by default? (yes/no)

It would be great if the following were added to edit profile:
* Subscribe to topic checkbox checked by default? (yes/no)

I love everything else though

Ryan,

Thanks for the thoughts. I'll keep them in mind but no promises. This software is open source so any changes I make need to be reapplied when a new version comes out. Glad you like the rest :)

@ryan:
i just have sqlTeam active topics open constantly and set to refresh every 5 minutes.
there the topics you've participated in are bold and are cleary distinguishable.
this works great for me. maybe you should try it.

Spirit1 - Didn't look at it that way! Just like with SQL, there are multiple ways of doing (or in this case, seeing) things.

You never sleep?

I use the bold thing too, but sometimes topics are replied to days later, and I don't like to miss out

I'll see if I can rely on it more heavily though - thanks for the suggestion
