Hell yes! Look at this http://www.sqlteam.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=51289 The most fun was when he didn't get the sarcasm with "I believe you have teached me something new today".

Imagine how long our thread were if the Yak Corral were just one thread like it is over at dbforums.com. That would be a lot of pages here!

Hey that thread is a tribute to this corral. And dbForums is run on mySQL, which promptly blew up and lost half of that thread. But there are a lot of good people over there, and some transplants here, like Matt and the Blind dude, Pat, Rudy, ect...
I encourage you all to come and say hi.

Thanks! I find it amusing after a while, reading the posts.
This is the first person I have come across, that I honestly can say "Stay out of SQL business!". He will never grow and learn.
I give lectures from time to time, and I have started using his code as warning examples to my students.
Oh dear Daniel, don't quit your day job picking knocking up girls...

No! But I started my career as a college mathematics teacher.
I sometimes hold lectures/classes/seminars to some of our clients on how to improve their T-SQL skills. They are not students (sorry, lack of better word). They are "listeners" and we have one or two basic real case scenarios which they should solve. Everything that proceduces the right result is ok. Then we discuss an optimal way for the particular problem.
And the last ten minutes, just for fun, I have started to show Gonxias code. Just to lighten the mood.

I liked where you quoted the thread about the pregnant girlfriend. "How would I know? I don't have a crystal ball."
I wonder if he picked that up?

Hey, that's the obscure, but not quite forgotten St. Jude. (Also patron saint of the Chicago Police Department (make of that what you will))

For Peso's title I was thinking "Cardinal Fang" (or Cardinal Ximenez) for his response to the Spanish Inquisition comment Not to mention his ruthless efficiency and his almost fanatical devotion to...oh nevermind.
