| Hi Friends,I came to know that permission for fixed server roles can be viewed using stored procedures for example, to see the permission for bulk adminwe can use sp_srvrolepermission 'bulkadmin', it shows permissions like Add member to bulkadmin BULK INSERTsimilarly, i would like to see the permission for public server role.. how to see it.. waiting for your replies..Thanks in advance |

| I think that you are confusing two similar but different concepts. The sp_srvrolepermission call returns the rights that are inherent to the fixed (built-in) role; not rights that have been explicitly granted.
