I need a clear idea about the internal operating system in SQL Server - the SQLOS. I understand that it controls the resources however I need a clear picture of it, kindly send ppt slides in this regard (if any)

SQLOS? SQL doesnt have an OS. SQL is a RDBMS.

I don't know of any power point presentations that describe SQLOS, but one of the best books that I have seen that explains SQLOS is Christian Bolton's Book. http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Server-2012-Internals-Troubleshooting/dp/1118177657

SQL OS Team also maintains a blog, which you might find useful to peruse through: http://sqlblog.com/blogs/sqlos_team/default.aspx
