Hi all,

Is the execution plan that SQL Server uses to process a query dependant on the volume of data in the tables?

Or is it purely based on the schema of the tables and the indexes on those tables.

The query plan should depend on the statistics which will depend on the volume (and distribution) of data.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
