Hi Experts,
We have one stored proc which is taking more than 1 hour to complete,i need to identity the cause why its taking so long to run.

You should enable Actual Execution Plan and see where resources are used.

Microsoft's documentation on query tuning is quite good. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms176005(v=sql.105).aspx

You should also check to make sure that your database is properly maintained - i.e., statistics are upto date and any fragmented indexes are reorganized/rebuilt.
