Hello SqlTeam,

I am using window vista home premium.

I installed sql server 2005 Management Studio.

Now,I want to install sql server 2012 Enterprise Edition.

May I know can I install sql server 2012 without uninstalling sql

server 2005?I want to keep both editions.

Thanks in advance

You would be able to install SQL 2012 even if you have SQL 2005 management studio installed. If you have SQL 2005 server installed you may need to install SQL 2012 as a named instance.

Regardless of that, you won't be able to install SQL 2012 Enterprise Edition on a Vista Home Premium. See here for OS requirements, you need Windows Server 2008 or 2012: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143506.aspx
