I have a windows 7 workstation. When I run the cliconfg on it, Named Pipes and TCP/IP show as both Enabled and Disabled. No matter what I try, like moving them both to enabled. When I close out and come back in they are both back on each side as enabled and disabled. |

run as administrator.or turn off UAC altogether. |

Ended up finding the user did not have read/write access to the registry setting for cliconfg. |
