I'm moving my site from a remote server to my own computer using IIS8 on windows 8 pro. Everything works and I can access the site on the internet. The problem is the database is on a remote server using sql server 2012. I have sql server 2012 installed on my pc but when I try to connect to it, it says "Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE"
Can someone please help?

Im using Windows Authentication on the local server. But on the remote server I had a username and password. Would this matter?

I figured it out. The user I created on my local server didn't have the permissions it needed to connect. I gave it permission and presto. Thanks everyone for your help.
