Our SQL Server 2005 default instance have databases for multiple applications. Shared Memory and TCP/IP enbaled. Named Pipes and VIA disabled.

One of our vendor needs to enbale Named Pipe to resolve some issues for his application on this instance.

Is there any issue to enbale both tcp and named pipes?
